About the CREW MEMBER Position

Tropiko's Crew Members work in the kitchen preparing food and at the front counter helping customers through the ordering process. Team member job duties include operating POS system, cash register, preparing bowls, cooking menu items, cleaning the restaurant, and completing other assigned tasks. 


  • Work front counter assisting customers through the ordering process
  • Work in the kitchen preparing food.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean and well maintained, utilizing a variety of cleaning utensils and chemical products along with the correct protective equipment.
  • Work in direct contact with customers and learning essential hospitality skills.
  • Provide customers a quick and accurate service showing sensitivity to their individual needs.
  • Responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of food using a broad range of equipment and tools.
  • Requires no formal education but some soft skill sets are essential to be successful on the job.
  • Must possess a friendly, respectful, and positive attitude; must be a team player with an apt for learning and enjoy working with people.
  • Must be enthusiastic and hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Arrives on time for work and stay until shift completion.
  • Responsible for preparing all Tropiko’s varieties, following established procedures.
  • Gives genuine attention to every guest, treating them with genuine friendliness and care.
  • Ensures fast and timely food service to guests, adhering to Tropiko’s food safety guidelines.
  • Assists in the training of new employees.
  • Ensure to follow all Tropiko’s safety and security procedures.
  • Complete other assigned tasks. 


  • Team player is required that you can work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Customer service is at the heart of the Tropiko’s crew responsibilities; hence they must possess strong customer service skills. They must be able to treat each guest respectfully and professionally, and deliver fast service to them.
  • Working as a Tropiko’s crew member involves using a variety of utensils and equipment; hence they must be open to learning new skills.
